Founded in 1989, Systems and
Software Design, Inc., has always put the needs of the client
first. The programming solutions developed by Systems and Software
Design, Inc., are always based on the system goals of the client,
not on requiring the client to confirm to the modification of
an existing system.
To illustrate the systems developed
under this policy, consider the following projects:
Auto Parts
Inventory Control
Maintain a running bar coded
inventory of parts while receiving parts, counter sales, completing
shipments of phone and FAX/E-mail sales, providing reorder notification,
tracking customer activity and credits and providing for cycle
counting of inventory, thereby, eliminating the need for an annual
inventory, while improving inventory accuracy.
Future Employee
Background Checks
Receive background check requests
by FAX/E-mail from clients, generate and FAX/E-mail information requests to
employers from within the application, enter employer responses
and prepare client reports. FAX/E-mail to client from within the application.
Process Orders
for Wholesaler
Receive orders from showroom
sales or from sales reps in the field. Field sales supplied to
main office via dialup phone connection with any updates being
downloaded to sales reps. Track orders from release to manufacturer,
shipment from manufacturer, invoicing from manufacturer, updating
of orders at wholesaler and development of commission reports
for all sales.
Dispatching
Shipments of Containerized Freight
Receive request for freight dispatches
from shipper. Track scheduled dispatches by Bill of Lading Number
within each day. Display Bill of Lading Number, Person responsible,
Pickup point, delivery day, P.O. Number, Container Number and
Special notes. Selective coloring is used to indicate special
status or conditions. This same approach can be utilized to schedule
different office functions and temporary staff positions.

Processing
Orders for Food Distribution
ContractWriter is a specialized program for processing
order contracts between food store chains and regional food brokers.
Since each food chain has it's own contract forms, ContractWriter
draws from a database of food products offered by the broker
and automatically fills out a preprinted contract form supplied
by the food chain. By selecting the food chain, selecting the
desired form to be completed and entering the contract information,
the desired contract is printed for distribution to the food
chain.
